Board of Directors
The Red River Nordic Board of Directors meets once per month, breaking during the summer during July and August. The board looks after the club’s annual budget, sets club direction, organizes the Annual General Meeting and takes care of other administrative tasks. Vacant positions can be filled at each years AGM with board approval.
Coaches are always needed for our Bunny Rabbit and Jackrabbit programs!
If you are interested in more official certification, or for more experience, NCCP Community Coaching courses are typically held once a year before the season starts in October – November.
Race Day Volunteer
Many hands are needed during race day at XC and biathlon events. Whether its setting up V-boards, shovelling snow, handing out bibs there is always something to do.
These types of jobs do not require much experience, and are quite easy to do.
Race organizers help make races run smoothly. There are many positions to fill for XC and biathlon events.
It’s important for parents to develop as race officials while their children develop as athletes. Progressive involvement helps ensure great races for future skiers to enjoy, and along the way you’ll have fun, build lasting friendships, gain an understanding of biathlon and nordic skiing and how races are designed to match the needs and abilities of the developing athlete.
Windsor Park Volunteer
At the beginning of each ski season, Windsor Park requires volunteers for tasks related to park maintenance. Red River Nordic are some of the Windsor Park’s significant users, and we like to give back to support the facility that allows us to operate.
Interested in any of the above positions, or need more information? Please do not hesitate to contact us for details.
