Description
The New Years Day Loppet is an annual event hosted by Red River Nordic on New Years Day at the Windsor Park Nordic Centre. The Loppet is open for participants of all ages and ability, with a variety of race distances to take part in. At the end, come join us in the Nordic Centre for hot chocolate, snacks, sweet treats, and prizes!
Come ski with us on New Years Day to enjoy the start of a new year amongst family and friends on our beautiful home course!
Distances
Distances are divided into 500m, 2km, 6km, and 18km. Participants can choose the distance they feel comfortable in skiing.

When open, registration and additional details for the New Years Day Loppet will be publicized and made available on Zone4.
Volunteer Opportunities
There are many volunteer roles to fill on race day, and we would love to have your support! If you are an available parent or guardian, family or friend, we highly recommend coming out to both events to help support the club.
